Moving day – Texas style

I have been in Wisconsin for almost two months now, and Sunday is when all the furniture is finally being moved. With Eric living in Texas through the end of the semester, we didn’t want to move everything until it was absolutely necessary.

Now, don’t think I’ve been doing without. Just this weekend, I found a great sofa and loveseat set to furnish the new place. You can read more about that here.

The very next day, Eric had all of our things in Texas ready to go for the moving truck.

I’m amazed they fit such a large truck down the street.

With some help from my parents, they were able to load the truck in just over an hour.

To our suprise, we took up less space than we estimated – just 6 ft!

Way to go everyone! Can’t wait to see it all next week!

Thank you for all your help, mom and dad! And thank you, Eric for such great organizational and planning skills. You win the award for best husband on this one 🙂

  1. 6 FEET?! Are you kidding me?! This last move we stuffed a 26ft uhaul and and king cab F-150 to the gills! Haha! Is it so nice to have all your things and your hubby in once place?

    1. We also brought some things up in my car and Eric’s truck. Some things we also sold in Dallas and rebought up here to save space. If we had truly put everything in the truck, it would have been much more than 6 feet. Hopefully, we won’t have to make that kind of move for a while though 🙂
